A little of this, a little of that

Lent has begun and I must admit I'm craving some Sour Patch Kids - ahhh!! This is too soon to be having withdrawals.  Unfortunately, I've cursed at least twice today. I caught myself immediately and corrected my verbiage :)

I had lunch today with some old buddies from college.  We had a great time catching up - I love spending time with friends - it just makes my day!  And tonight, we are going to eat dinner at our best friend's house & get to hang out with my favorite one year old!!

I'm on week 3 of my off week from Cayston & feel fabulous.  I have coughed a slight bit more today and yesterday, but I blame the hubby.  He's had a funk the past few days and hacks a lot.  I'm trying to avoid him :)  I'll start back on the 19th with my Cayston.

I'm heading in for my quarterly check up next Friday, so I'm excited to see my fabulous CF team!  Should be an easy visit, just PFTs and my regular appointment - no X-rays, blood work or bone density test - Yay!

  1. Yay on the easy visit! I'll be praying that everything goes great! Giving up Sour Patches and cursing...I will definitely be praying! I can't go a day without saying my favorite four letter word, starting with s. My mom told me that was one of the first words that came out of my mouth. I guess I need to get rid of my potty mouth as I will have a little one coming soon.

I remember practicing good ole Lent when I was a presbyterian. I can't remember what my hardest fast was though. I told Jim even though we aren't Catholic or Presbyterian, I think I'm going to give up water. (I don't think my doc will approve of that, though.)

I hope Mr. William feels better. Just remember to use your positive attitude as you did earlier...I will not get sick, I will not get sick. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with contractions, I've tried.
