Pupdate!

Boy, it's been a while since the last pupdate!  You all must be dying to know how my 4-legged babies are doing!! ;)

I'll start with my trouble maker...T-Bone.  He's been a good boy and getting along with Sarge and Stella...a few minor tiffs, but that is OK by me!  Unfortunately, his skin has been causing him some problems.  It started with us noticing his belly was pink and looked dry which I treated with Desitin.  It helped but not enough.  So, after 2 visits to the vet, 2 different courses of treatment, medicated baths, lots of pills, an ice cream treat and lots of kisses...it appears we are making progress.  He's finishing his course of an antibiotic and we've added an antihistamine to his daily meds to help whatever is causing his reaction.  Hopefully, it won't be permanent, just seasonal.   Here's a pic of this angel at the vet.  He has started to not like that place.  I bribe him with treats just to get him in the front door now...and last week, I had to pick him up (all 53 lbs of him) and carry him to the exam room.
Being a patient boy at the vet.
Getting his bath...has to sit with the shampoo on for 10 minutes!
Ice Cream Reward for being poked and prodded at the vet.

Sarge is just the usual butterball.  His rolls are getting extra dirty...so he gets to have them wiped out even more than normal.  Don't know why they seem extra wet :(  But, we are keeping an eye on them and keeping them clean.  He has started humping Stella these past few weeks.  It's rather funny to watch, but of course we correct him and tell him not to hump his sister!
Enjoying the beautiful day with some playtime.
I couldn't resist ;)
Stella is loving the beautiful weather.  She wants to live outside!  So, I try to give her some extra time out there to play when it's not too hot.  We've had weather in the high 70s already so she can't play outside for more than a few minutes in that heat.  I'm probably over paranoid about the heat, but I'm not willing to risk it!  She's been a good girl to her brothers...mostly.
To say that she LOVES her dad is an understatement...borderline OBSESSED!
She likes to sneak back our our bedroom during the day to nap on T-Bone's bed!

We've added coconut oil to their food!  I've read that is good for skin conditions among others benefits.  They sure seem to love it, but I don't know anything they don't like!

Overall, we have 3 happy and healthy pups!
They did this voluntarily!!

A part of me lives in Indiana

I have a love-hate relationship with flying.  I am terrified of a plane crash.  But, I love how fast I can get to all the places I want to go.  Two weekends ago, I had the joy of visiting my precious niece and nephew (my brother and sister-in-law too!).  I flew up on Thursday morning before the sun even came up.  It was a great weekend!! I got lots of quality play time and snuggle time in.  We did some spring cleaning and organizing too!  I love organizing - although you might not think that when you look at my house ;)  It's more fun with other peoples stuff - I have not sentimental attachments so I'm all for purging! My 'stuff' on the other hand - I like to hoard!

Here are some pics from our weekend together.
Good Morning from the Atlanta Airport

Yes, we play with bubbles even when there is snow on the ground!
I thought about sneaking her home in my suitcase ;)
Her cute trick - clapping when we say "Yay, Allie!!"
The chaos of trying to get 2 little ones to look for a picture
This kid has me wrapped around his little finger! I know never what he's going to say next! But I can be assured it will be hilarious!
We headed to the airport Sunday afternoon.  We got there early so we could sit in the food court area, snack and let Adam watch the planes.  He loves them!

I hate saying goodbye.  I did better this time and didn't cry.  Well, not til I was on the plane taking off.    Then, I was the crazy person crying on a plane...lol.  But, I was so thankful for a beautiful and smooth flight.  I took that time to reflect on how lucky I am.  I'm beyond blessed to be an Aunt.  I'm blessed to have an amazing family.  Looking out at the clouds,  all the craziness of life disappeared.  I don't know how you can look at those sights and not find peace.

Let the fundraising begin!

It's that time of year - Great Strides Fundraising!!

I've procrastinated getting started a bit, but still have lots of time.  My walk is on April 30th :)

I've added a ticker (or whatever you call it) to the right side of the page ---------->
It will track my fundraising progress towards the $12,000 goal!
