Signs?

As I previously mentioned, I became an aunt (again) last month.  Therefore, I have been doing some shopping in the 9 months leading up to these precious babies....some online.  So, I have been receiving baby stuff in the mail, as expected.  However, I didn't expect to receive baby formula and a "congratulations on your baby" package!!

I chuckled about it and passed the formula on to Brandy :)  Then, a week or so later, I received some coupons and a postcard reminding me to set up my registry at Babies R Us.  What?!?  I laughed more and passed on the coupons, but of course didn't set up a registry.  I started wondering what in the world I did to get this stuff...and I still have no clue!

Oh, but it was only the beginning!  Since this started back in May, I have received another package of formula, several coupons for formula, some coupons for birth announcements, and a few magazines for parents and babies.  Oh my!!  Is this a sign that we should have a baby?

CF Stuff

CF Appointment:
I had my CF appointment on Friday and I'm happy to report, I'm doing well.  PFTs are up a bit from last time:  FVC = 97%; FEV1 = 87%; FEF25-75% = 59%

My small airways are still lower than where I would like them.  Just 2 years ago they were consistently in the 80% range.  So, I need to figure out what is causing the slope and how to get them back up.  I'm going to do some digging into when I started Cayston and if I was on my cycle when I had lower scores.  Not blaming Cayston, but that's the only thing I've done differently in the past few years ;/

The doc prescribed me a bisphosphonate that will help with my osteopenia.  It will be a once a week medication.  I just picked it up today, so I'll get started this week.

I'm feeling pretty much 100% from the creeping crud that I had - yay!!  I was told not to start the HTS until I was completely better, so looks like I will be getting on that soon.  My only hesitation is that I am starting Cayst…

7th Heaven

Happy 7th Anniversary to US!!!

I'm one lucky gal to have a husband that is so generous, smart, handsome, hard-working, trusting, loving...the list could go on and on.  I can't wait for many more years together!  I LOVE YOU!!

Happy Birthday Bully Babies

Hard to believe but my sweet bully babies are 2!!  Sadly, I wasn't a good mom by getting them a birthday cake like last year...but, their wonderful Aunt Brandy spoiled them with some special treats :)

I love these four-legged creatures with all my heart.  My how they have grown:

I love my Stella and Sarge!!!

Sweet Babies :)

As I previously mentioned - I was blessed to have 2 new babies join the world on June 20th.  I was so surprised that they both decided to come into the world on the same day.  I remember when I found out about the pregnancies, I thought that it would be pretty cool if they had the same birthday!  But, I never imagines it would really happen.

So, who are these two little people that joined the world?  Here they are:

Adam Knox Lillian Cayte
Adam Knox belongs to my big brother, Michael and his wife, Amanda.  Amanda went into labor on Wednesday night and this little guy was born at 2:32 am.  It was a busy night - I was anxiously waiting for texts from my brother with updates on the labor.  They live in Indiana, so I wasn't able to be at the hospital :(  But, Michael did great keeping up posted then sending pictures and videos once he was born.

Just when I thought the day couldn't get any better, I woke up for work after a few hours of sleep and my best friend, Brandy had texted me …

Hello Cipro :(

Unfortunately, I've been a little under the weather this week which has kept me from sharing with the world that I am an aunt (again!!!).  I was blessed with a nephew and a niece on June 20th!  Yes, two on one day and they aren't twins!!  I'm going to dedicate a post to these precious babies soon.

In celebration of my nephew, I went up to Indiana the weekend before last and I believe I caught something between the 2 hospitals and the airport...I'm thinking the airport.

It started last Monday evening with a slightly scratchy throat, which led to a sore throat Tuesday with a cough due to the sore throat.  Then, Wednesday, I felt like I hit a wall.  I was exhausted, achey, coughing (still not in the chest) and my sinuses were going bonkers.  I started feeling better Thursday and my lungs still felt clear.  But, somewhere between then and Sunday, the crap got into my chest.

I survived the last week on Mucinex, DayQuil, NyQuil, and cough drops.  Sadly, they didn't do t…
