Catching up
Clearly my blog updates have been few and far between lately. Being that I've had some freedom with the AffloVest, I haven't spent as much time in front of my computer.
So, let's do a little catch up on life in October and November so far.
I kicked October off by getting new car - gotta love that!! So, I've been busy breaking it in with some road trips.
First up was a visit to West Virginia. A few of my girlfriends came up for a long weekend...we pampered ourselves at the spa and a visit to the salt cave, then checked out The Greenbrier, went to a festival in Lewisburg (TOOT - Taste of our Towns), and just enjoyed some good ole R&R.
I stayed in WV for a total of 10 days and got to make a day trip to see that handsome new nephew of ours. He just melts my heart! 🥰
After being back home for a couple days, I was gone again! This time to Nashville with my travel buddy, Jessica. She had a work conference, so I got to tag along for the fun stuff! We ate, we drank, we shopped and even did some goat yoga during our visit.
I was home again for a couple days and was planning to have a quiet weekend at home, but then got bummed because I haven't seen my niece and nephew since July! That is far too long to not see those precious rugrats. So, my awesome hubby booked me flights to go see them in Indiana and I was sooooo happy!! I got to surprise both kids with a last minute trip...I think they were pretty pleased with their surprise. We had so much fun in such a short visit, but I was so thankful to got to see them. I hate not being close.
I was home again for a couple day and then Will and I went to Atlanta to visit some friends this past weekend. It was fun, perhaps too much fun was had by me on Friday night. Oops! Then on the way home Sunday, we got to have brunch with my sister who now has her first big girl job! And her birthday was Monday, so we got to celebrate early!
We've still got a few more trips coming up that I'm excited about - a trip to WV again and Las Vegas!! Woohoo!! Then I need to keep my traveling butt at home so I can get some Christmas shopping done - of course I haven't started yet...but I have been thinking at least!
Nothing much going on with Sarge and Stella - just lots of naps, per usual!
