Hello 2026! Unsurprisingly I didn't do any further updates in 2025. So, let's catch up where I left off in March.
The rest of March was spent tending to Elton's recovery. He was a rock star! We also went to Steeplechase and my sister and her fiancé came to town.
April had a rough start with the unexpected loss of one of our gym buddies. Our 8:30am group won't be the same without Chuck - he is greatly missed.

We had a nice Easter and closed out April with a trip to Vegas!

May started with vet appointments for Elton to see if we could determine why he pees in his sleep. They didn't find anything wrong so unfortunately we didn't get answers, but lucky for him it didn't lead to further surgery. Tried some more meds to see if they might help. We had a nice Memorial Day at camp to kick off the summer.

June started with Will's work trip to West Palm Beach which I got to tag along for! A great start to kick off my birthday month! Then I got to go to Atlanta to assist with Corinne's Bridal portraits (which was so much fun)! And then we had Corinne's Bachelorette Trip to Key West! I hadn't been to Florida in years, and here I was twice in one month!

We ended June and kicked off July at camp, where we celebrated the 4th of July. Captain and Elton enjoyed some time at the river. Towards the end of the month, we ventured up to Morgantown, WV to celebrate Keaton's 6th Birthday and have some fun with Will's side of the family. And then I did a short weekend in Tennessee!

August started bittersweet. We celebrated that Elton found his forever home, which also broke my heart. BUT he found the most perfect family for him with 3 little boys to keep him busy. And his new family is perfectly fine with him needing diapers. More time spent at camp and going to the fair. Sadly it ended with the passing of my Uncle Bob.

September continued with sadness as sweet Nanny passed away (my best friend's grandmother) and then Anglo passed away towards the end of the month. One of the most wonderful dogs ever to exist.

However, September was also filled with lots of love and excitement as my sister Corinne married Chris! It was quite the celebration and such a blessing to be her Matron of Honor.

October led to a girls weekend in Helen, GA, which was a blast and a much needed getaway. For fall break, my brother and family came to camp for a long weekend!

| After my Uncle Bob passed in August, we found this shirt that he wore at Oktoberfest 1976 and I was able to wear it on my girl's trip to Helen's Oktoberfest! |

November was full of eating! We had our Campsgiving celebration over Veterans Day Weekend, and had our 1st snow of the winter in WV. We had Thanksgiving with the family here in Aiken, then headed out on Will's Birthday trip to the BVI. Sadly I lost another Uncle while we were out of the country.

The lead up to the holidays is always crazy, and it went by fast. We celebrated in Aiken with a family dinner, then visited my family in TN for a couple nights and spent Christmas in Indiana with my big brother's family. And best part, Captain got to come along for the adventure! We ended the year back home in Aiken with a visit from Will's brother & family.

And that's a wrap on 2025. Lost some very special people but will hold them in my heart forever.
