More Thanks
Day 8: I'm thankful for the beautiful weather. Living in South Carolina, we don't see a whole lot of really cold days or snow, but its finally getting a bit cooler here...much better then the miserable 90-100s we had all summer. I love getting up in the mornings and bundling up in a coat to take the pups out. The days are still warming up to the 70s which is still a bit warm for the fall, in my opinion, but the pups love it. They enjoy running around outside and chasing all the leaves and eating everything in sight. I love that the sun still shines brightly even when its slightly chilly out. I just makes me happy to be outside this time of year!
Day 9: I am thankful for my home. I love my house and can't believe we will have lived here a year in December. Its still not decorated completely, I'm a slacker in that department, but its not just a house, its a home. Its a place to feel safe, it keeps me warm when its cold out and cool when its hot out. I can be myself in my home - I can be make-up free, look like a slob or run around in my underwear if I want. I knew the day we first looked at it that I wanted it and had to make it mine - I'm pretty lucky to have my dream home!!
