More Thanks

Day 5:  I'm thankful for my friends.  We spent Saturday evening hanging out with some of our closest friends watching football...we had a fajita and margarita party!  I must say everything tasted great, but the best part was spending time with friends.  True friends are pretty rare, so when you find them, hold them close and don't let go!

Day 6:  I'm thankful for my puppies.  They are 4 months old now and making great progress.  Stella is pretty much over the bladder issue and they are both learning to stand by the back door when they want to go outside.  They know their names, although they may not always acknowledge you when you call them...but they definitely know you are talking to them whether they want you to or not.  They stress me out sometimes but the joy they bring is immeasurable (if that's a word).   And they were good sleepers on Saturday morning, not so much Sunday...the time change got the best of them :)

Day 7:  I'm thankful for books.  I've recently been back on my reading kick, which I am enjoying.  Although I don't get a ton of reading time because I have to constantly be on puppy alert when they are awake, its still great to get my mind off of life and escape into a book.  I finished Nicholas Sparks' newest book last week...fabulous as always.  And I currently re-reading "Breaking Dawn" to prepare for the movie next week.  Yes, I will be one of those screaming teenagers adults at the midnight showing!! Yay!

Happy Monday!
